Rebecca & Jon Wedding

_DSC6994.jpg

What a fabulous and amazing wedding!! Rebecca and Jon had an incredible wedding day and they truly, truly enjoyed every single second of it. The rain even held out for each planned outside event - like their first meeting. Rebecca and Jon knew how to enjoy their wedding and planned a truly awesome wedding day for them and their guests. A true destination wedding to my wonderful New Orleans city!!

The entire wedding party got dressed at the beautiful Omni Hotel on St. Louis, the first meeting was done in Jackson Square, the ceremony was held at the St. Louis Cathedral. They then had a second line that lead all of the guests to the reception at Latrobe's on Royal. All superb locations and events!

Rebecca and Jon, you both looked amazing and just glowing all day. Ya'll were so amazing and wonderful to work with from the engagement session and all the way up to the wedding day. You guys are so laid back and just go with the flow and just look so good together!! Nothing bothered either one of you which is the way I love my clients!!

Rebecca and Jon decided to see each other before their ceremony - WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING !!!!!!!!! Put the superstitions away and enjoy that first moment between the two of you my future couples. I know Rebecca and Jon loved it and felt more relaxed after seeing each other and having that personal time together.

Rebecca and Jon, what can I say - amazing couple, amazing wedding, amazing day. I posted a ton of images because I got so many amazing things from your day. You guys went all out, were so fun and laid back and made the extra time for fun stuff and we did it all. That is the way to do it!!

_DSC7012.jpg

Some laid back images from the time I spent with Jon and his groomsmen. I love this image of him. He's just so happy. But, their engagement session they were both like this as well.

_DSC7048.jpg
_DSC7137.jpg

Their first meeting - we set Rebecca up and "fluffed" her and she waited in Jackson Square to see him. He came around that bush by the fountain and what a great moment for the two of them. Absolutely perfect in every way. They were in their own little world and knew of no one around which was awesome for them. Perfect place for their first meeting since their wedding ceremony was at St. Louis Cathedral. They made this image so easy - I just sat back and watched and got some incredible emotional images from them.

_DSC7166.jpg

Again - their own little world. They exchanged gifts and cards and had an amazing moment with just the two of them.

Future couples - these are not posed moments - moments that I captured by staying away from them. Keep that in mind - again, I highly recommend it!

_DSC7190.jpg
_DSC7209.jpg

After their first meeting we got a few images which had so much more emotional feel than regular shots after the ceremony.

_DSC7359.jpg

Well, we then grabbed the wedding party and headed to Bourbon Street for some fun stuff. So much more when you give me the time to have some fun!!

_DSC7380.jpg
_DSC7383.jpg
_DSC7409.jpg

They are naturally just great. I never had to mess with them - all just done on their own and so happy!!

_DSC7433.jpg

Well, then of course they found a balcony on Bourbon!!!

Some fun shots right after the ceremony. All of the group shots were done before the wedding at the hotel but we wanted just the two of them again in front of the cathedral and the wedding party - then off to the second line!

Man was this is spread for the groom's cake!!!! The groom is from Hershey, so the theme for him was chocolate - and more chocolate. I was in heaven by that table. And it looked gorgeous. The cake and groom's cake and all of these candies were made by the bride's aunt. Wish she lived here!!! Everything tasted so good and the cakes were gorgeous.

Erin and Chris had a gorgeous wedding this past Saturday. The colors were fantastic, the bride was beautiful, the girls looked incredible and the groom was handsome. The entire wedding party got dressed at the Royal Sonesta hotel on Bourbon. The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Louis Cathedral with a second line immediately following the ceremony around Jackson Square and to the Riverview Room for the reception where the Topcats rocked the house all night! The beautiful flowers were done by Fat Cat Flowers and looked perfect, as always.

Everything seemed perfect for their whole wedding and everyone, including all of the parents, truly enjoyed the wedding. Erin and Chris I hope you enjoyed your day and I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!! Congratulations and I am thankful that I was a part of your wedding.

Angela & Daniel Wedding

_DSC3856.jpg

Angela and Daniel had a beautiful, fun and elegant wedding this past Saturday! Angela was absolutely stunning and the dress was gorgeous! It was perfect for her. All of the girls got dressed at the Courtyard Marriott in Covington, the ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Lake in Mandeville and the reception followed at Benedicts in Mandeville. The colors were beautiful on the girls and the bouquets just jumped out with more color.

I think everyone was having so much fun at their wedding - the dance floor stayed pretty busy all night long and never eased up! They knew how to have fun. Angela and Daniel were just adorable together and have the sweetest little looks at each other. They sure are a gorgeous couple!

Angela and Daniel, I had a great time at your wedding and I know you guys did as well ! Congratulations!

Monica & Marcus had a beautiful, elegant, sophisticated and fun wedding this past Saturday. Monica was absolutely stunning and flawless! Marcus was looking very handsome and working that camera. Everyone got dressed at the Inn on Bourbon, the ceremony was Our Lady of Good Counsel and the reception followed at Southern Oaks Plantation. Monica's girls were gorgeous in a pastel pink with amazing flowers by Diane at Fat Cat in pastel pinks and whites.

Marcus was certainly fun - he was hilarious and kept me on my toes all night. He has so much energy and he truly adores his new wife, you can certainly tell.

Lauren & Nathan Wedding

_DSC0753.jpg

Lauren and Nathan had a gorgeous wedding - wet, but still gorgeous! - on Saturday April 26th. Lauren looked stunning and elegant in her beautiful Melissa Sweet dress - which so far has been my absolute favorite dress!! It was incredible and perfect for Lauren. Her and all of her girls got dressed at the Iberville Suites downtown and they all looked fabulous in green dresses and incredible flowers done by Diane at Fat Cat Flowers! And, of course, Nathan and his guys looked very handsome and stylish.

Everything Lauren and Nathan did was very sophisticated and truly beautiful. The ceremony was held at St. John the Baptist with the reception following at the Board of Trade with glowing lanterns and candles all over with green uplighting to match her color scheme. The green lighting truly made it dramatic and tied everything together for a romantic night for everyone attending.

Lauren and Nathan, I truly enjoyed being there on your wedding day. Everything was fantastic and the two of you are a gorgeous couple and so very, very sweet. Enjoy your honeymoon and congratulations!!

Alicia and Kevin had a beautiful wedding this past Saturday. Alicia and her girls got dressed at the beautiful Ritz Carlton Hotel. She looked gorgeous and just glowing. And of course the groom looked dashing in his tuxedo. Kevin has the greatest personality and they compliment each other so good. The ceremony was then held at St. Joseph on Tulane - such a gorgeous place. The reception then followed at the fabulous Southern Oaks Plantation.

Alicia and Kevin went all out for their wedding and truly enjoyed themselves that night. The way Kevin looks at Alicia is the sweetest thing. Anyone can tell how much he truly loves her. They are both such a happy, laid back couple who truly care about each other.

Debra & Eric Wedding

_DSC6586.jpg

Debra and Eric, what can I say except exquisite!!! Wonderful and beautiful and fun wedding. Debra looked absolutely stunning. I forgot the name of her designer for her dress, but it was truly gorgeous and looked like it was made just for her!!! Everything was beautiful and amazing guys. Both of your families were just adorable and you can see how close all of you are.

So, let me tell about the wedding. Debra and Eric and everyone else all got dressed at the Omni Royal. Then everyone got on a bus (or limo) to Temple Sinai on St. Charles where all of the pics were done before the ceremony. Everything at the Temple was very special to Debra's family as Debra's father is the Rabbi at Temple Sinai, which made everything so much more personal for them. The ceremony was so beautiful.

All of the flowers were absolutely AMAZING. Perfect Presentations did an incredible job on the huppa and the ballroom looked elegant and gorgeous. Vieux Carre rocked the house for the couple. And, her cake was gorgeous!! Creole Cakery did both cakes and his cake was a replica of Abita Purple Haze for Eric - details even down the label on the bottle!!

Anyway, Debra and Eric, enjoy the sneak preview and your honeymoon!!! I am glad that I was a part of your day. Congratulations!!!

Lauren & Kyle Wedding

_DSC5037.jpg

Lauren & Kyle had an AMAZING wedding this past Saturday night. They sure know how to throw a party and to have fun. Lauren definitely stepped out of the box for her wedding and did what she wanted and it turned out perfect - except for the limo issue Lauren!! Ha! Now it's funny. She did different color dresses and different color flowers for each girl - which brought so much color to her images. Great job Lauren.

Lauren and Kyle both got dressed at the Royal Sonesta with the ceremony at Immaculate Conception on Baronne and a large reception back at the Royal Sonesta. They had a cocktail hour for all of their guests while they snuck away to their own sweetheart table in a private room for dinner. They then had a full course sit down dinner for all of their guests with a full reception that followed. To say the least, they went all out.

The room looked amazing, the flowers were gorgeous, the cake was beautiful. As usual, Diane with Fat Cat Flowers did a great job. Zoe's again created a beautiful custom cake. And, Louisiana Spice rocked the house.

Lauren and Kyle, I hope you have a great honeymoon. I truly enjoyed being part of your day - it certainly was a party!!!

Lauren and Garrett had a gorgeous wedding this past Saturday. Everyone got dressed at the Intercontinental Hotel on St. Charles. The ceremony was held at the gorgeous Holy Rosary church on Esplanade. That is my favorite church. The reception was then back at the Intercontinental in the beautiful ballroom. Bella Blooms did all of the flowers and After 8 was their band.

Deborah & Bryan Wedding 3/1

_DSC1298.jpg

Deborah & Bryan had a beautiful - and teary ;) wedding this past Saturday. The ceremony and reception was held at the Omni Royal downtown and they did a fabulous job for Deborah and Bryan. Everything was decorated beautifully by the wonderful Diane at Fat Cat Flowers with the added bling to the bouquets provided by the beautiful bride herself. Cool little addition for the bridesmaids!! AND, one of my favorite bands - Groovy 7 - played incredible as always!!

I got to do something fun after their wedding since we had some extra time and it was a day wedding. I met the bride and groom in Jackson Square after their carriage ride and we go to take some pics of just the two of them. I don't know if they even knew I was around !!! They were so excited to have just gotten married and just so happy together.

Deborah and Bryan congratulations!!!! It was great being a part of your wedding day and it was also great that I got to see some old friends.

Bryan's text message as Deborah was getting dressed was just adorable - of course I needed a pic of it!
