June 17th, 2008 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Rebecca & Jon Wedding |
What a fabulous and amazing wedding!! Rebecca and Jon had an incredible wedding day and they truly, truly enjoyed every single second of it. The rain even held out for each planned outside event - like their first meeting. Rebecca and Jon knew how to enjoy their wedding and planned a truly awesome wedding day for them and their guests. A true destination wedding to my wonderful New Orleans city!! The entire wedding party got dressed at the beautiful Omni Hotel on St. Louis, the first meeting was done in Jackson Square, the ceremony was held at the St. Louis Cathedral. They then had a second line that lead all of the guests to the reception at Latrobe's on Royal. All superb locations and events! Rebecca and Jon, you both looked amazing and just glowing all day. Ya'll were so amazing and wonderful to work with from the engagement session and all the way up to the wedding day. You guys are so laid back and just go with the flow and just look so good together!! Nothing bothered either one of you which is the way I love my clients!! Rebecca and Jon decided to see each other before their ceremony - WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING !!!!!!!!! Put the superstitions away and enjoy that first moment between the two of you my future couples. I know Rebecca and Jon loved it and felt more relaxed after seeing each other and having that personal time together. Rebecca and Jon, what can I say - amazing couple, amazing wedding, amazing day. I posted a ton of images because I got so many amazing things from your day. You guys went all out, were so fun and laid back and made the extra time for fun stuff and we did it all. That is the way to do it!! |
Some laid back images from the time I spent with Jon and his groomsmen. I love this image of him. He's just so happy. But, their engagement session they were both like this as well. |
|
Their first meeting - we set Rebecca up and "fluffed" her and she waited in Jackson Square to see him. He came around that bush by the fountain and what a great moment for the two of them. Absolutely perfect in every way. They were in their own little world and knew of no one around which was awesome for them. Perfect place for their first meeting since their wedding ceremony was at St. Louis Cathedral. They made this image so easy - I just sat back and watched and got some incredible emotional images from them. |
Again - their own little world. They exchanged gifts and cards and had an amazing moment with just the two of them. Future couples - these are not posed moments - moments that I captured by staying away from them. Keep that in mind - again, I highly recommend it! |
|
After their first meeting we got a few images which had so much more emotional feel than regular shots after the ceremony. |
Well, we then grabbed the wedding party and headed to Bourbon Street for some fun stuff. So much more when you give me the time to have some fun!! |
|
|
They are naturally just great. I never had to mess with them - all just done on their own and so happy!! |
Well, then of course they found a balcony on Bourbon!!! |
Daddy's final moments with his daughter right before walking down the aisle. |

Some fun shots right after the ceremony. All of the group shots were done before the wedding at the hotel but we wanted just the two of them again in front of the cathedral and the wedding party - then off to the second line! |

Second line straight to receiving line full of fun and music. |
Man was this is spread for the groom's cake!!!! The groom is from Hershey, so the theme for him was chocolate - and more chocolate. I was in heaven by that table. And it looked gorgeous. The cake and groom's cake and all of these candies were made by the bride's aunt. Wish she lived here!!! Everything tasted so good and the cakes were gorgeous. |

The couple were getting down the whole time!! They truly enjoyed every second with no worries! |

April 23rd, 2008 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Alicia & Kevin Wedding |
Alicia and Kevin had a beautiful wedding this past Saturday. Alicia and her girls got dressed at the beautiful Ritz Carlton Hotel. She looked gorgeous and just glowing. And of course the groom looked dashing in his tuxedo. Kevin has the greatest personality and they compliment each other so good. The ceremony was then held at St. Joseph on Tulane - such a gorgeous place. The reception then followed at the fabulous Southern Oaks Plantation. Alicia and Kevin went all out for their wedding and truly enjoyed themselves that night. The way Kevin looks at Alicia is the sweetest thing. Anyone can tell how much he truly loves her. They are both such a happy, laid back couple who truly care about each other. Alicia and Kevin I hope you enjoy your honeymoon and congratulations!! |

April 4th, 2008 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Lauren & Kyle Wedding |
Lauren & Kyle had an AMAZING wedding this past Saturday night. They sure know how to throw a party and to have fun. Lauren definitely stepped out of the box for her wedding and did what she wanted and it turned out perfect - except for the limo issue Lauren!! Ha! Now it's funny. She did different color dresses and different color flowers for each girl - which brought so much color to her images. Great job Lauren. Lauren and Kyle both got dressed at the Royal Sonesta with the ceremony at Immaculate Conception on Baronne and a large reception back at the Royal Sonesta. They had a cocktail hour for all of their guests while they snuck away to their own sweetheart table in a private room for dinner. They then had a full course sit down dinner for all of their guests with a full reception that followed. To say the least, they went all out. The room looked amazing, the flowers were gorgeous, the cake was beautiful. As usual, Diane with Fat Cat Flowers did a great job. Zoe's again created a beautiful custom cake. And, Louisiana Spice rocked the house. Lauren and Kyle, I hope you have a great honeymoon. I truly enjoyed being part of your day - it certainly was a party!!! |

One of her bridesmaids own Shoeffle - a great shoe boutique - so we had to make sure to get the shoes in!! Plus you all know how much I love shoes!!! |

Zoe's!! I love Zoe's cakes. |
Her beautifully decorated ballroom. Each ribbon on the chairs were different colors to match her pastel colors in the girls' dresses. They had between 200 and 300 guests - so lots of tables!!!! |

Lauren's sister and best friend was giving a beautiful speech - and funny one too!! |
Right after Kyle made a beautiful speech about his beautiful bride. |
|
Tina Turner's Proud Mary song - all the girls were on stage. And, Lauren and Kyle had feather boas and Mardi Gras masks for EVERY guest which brought in more color and flair to the wedding reception. There were feathers everywhere!!!! But, everyone joined in and had a lot of fun with them. |
